The Life and Times of Bob Bolt
Bob is a lifesize metal skeleton that is fully poseable. He was created almost entirely from old rusty nuts, bolts
and washers. He is 80-90% anatomically
accurate as far as bone structure (number and placement of bones, but not necessarily in
shape). I studied dozens of human anatomy photos to try and make him as accurate as
possible without hiding the fact that he's made of nuts and bolts. He can be fully
positioned except for his spine. His ankles, knees, hips, wrists, elbows, shoulders
and head can all be moved/positioned in 3 dimensions. He also has several different
hands that can be changed out for performing different tasks. From idea to
completion, it took me about a month to create him.
